cr1939110301RobertWHoy.jpg 232KB; Robert W. Hoy, 89, son of Dr. William and Sarah Klein Hoy, early resident of Saugatuck, passed away, Wednesday, Oct. 25, at his home. Mr. Hoy was born June 18, 1850, at Dowagiac, Mich., having one brother John and a sister, Alice, who have passed on. Mr. Hoy came to Saugatuck with his parents when five years old, He was the fourth white child here. His father was a doctor and grew to be loved by all the Indians to whom he administered, the ague being most prevalent then. The Indians often took Robert for a week at a time to their huts at the Red Banks. The Hoys have always kept the same location on the hill known as
