About the Event

Join Myriah Williams M.Ed., Potawatomi Pokagon Band Citizen, Outdoor Discovery Center’s Cultural and Environmental Educator, to engage in historical and contemporary Anishinaabe culture. Discover firsthand what tools were used for everyday life. Artifacts, replicas, and media will be woven into this unique experience where participants will gain practical knowledge.

Myriah Williams is a Potawatomi Pokagon Band Citizen and works for her community by serving on the Tribe’s school board. Her role at the Outdoor Discovery Center’s Cultural and Environmental Educator gives her a firm footing to build accurate and relevant cultural knowledge for the local community.
