Scope and ContentPaperwork generated by various members of the SDHC to apply for grants from Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA), the Roland Foundation, Museums for America, Institute of Museum and Library Science, United States Department of the Interior, Preserve America, National Park Service and other funding organizations from 1993 to present. Grant applications included requests for the Pump House museum establishment; museum exhibits including "Tales of the Villages" and "Storm, Fire & Ice"; Gallinipper/Francis lifeboat restoration; Rowing Them Safety Home boat barn exhibit; the Old School House project and Back-in-Time gardens, the OSH Lockers and more. The bundles of documents include budgets, plans, receipts and invoices.
