There was too much to fit into one box, so it had to be split between two boxes. The achievement award was too big to fit into a typical flip top box so it has to be stored in a flat box instead. Box L4 Miscellaneous personal items

Items and documents that are historic or related to Lorenz's personal interests outside of his writing, but are still related to Saugatuck. There is a 1903 advertisement from the Jenison Electric Park with the Interurban schedule. It contains the train schedule for the season along with descritptions of the park's attractions. There are also 2 travel guides for Washington D.C and an almanac from 1922. There is also personal correspondence between Lorenz and various individuals who were personal friends, but also fellow local historians.

Items and documents that pertain to Lorenz's personal interests. In this case it relates to the bed and breakfast industry which he was part of when he and his wife owned the Old Wing Inn. There are also membership documents from the Holland Historic Trust, the 1st Chicago Bottle Club, and other organizations that he was interested in. There are also various miscellaneous items such as a copy of the 1969 issue of Avant Garde magazine
