Two pairs of framed photos, subjects unknown
Photograph
A pair of photographs of unknown people. The first pair are in a modest, gold-colored metal, hinged double frame. Open, the frame is 5 x 3.5 inches. The man and woman are in 1930-1940s-style clothing. The woman has a watch or metal on her jacket lapel. A slip of paper with the text "BB-19412MK" was tucked behind the photo of the woman. The man is wearing a fedora hat with pocket square but no tie.
The send pair of photography are much earlier (1800s?), not printed on paper, and a strong mirror effect of the prints makes them difficult to see. The sitters are two men. Pink color has been added to enhance their cheeks. The frames are highly ornate with embossing on the leather-like covers and much gold decorations on the interior mats. The spine is torn so the photos are completely separate. The photos have different-shaped mats so although the covers and latches match, they may not be a pair. Each framed images is about 3 x3.5 inches.
