Black vinyl portfolio with clear plastic pages stuffed with photographs and illustrations created by Douglas resident and historian Rob Carey. Collection includes images of fireworks over Lake Kalamazoo, winter/snow scenes, Saugatuck Village Hall, the Maplewood Hotel, The Butler, Butler Street, Wick's Park, the boardwalk and docks at Cook Park, Le Levant, The Blueberry House (the Carey home in Douglas), the Peterson Grist Mill, the Chain Ferry, the replica lighthouse at Tower Marine, the Star of Saugatuck, the Keewatin, the gazebo at Coghlin Park, view from Mt. Baldhead, custom-made signs, Oval Beach, logo for a "Saugatuck University", negatives and positives for "Great Lakes Port" design and Cisco and Island Queen boat/ships illustrations. Some motives used for screen printing t-shirts for his shop on Butler Street.

Mr. Carey wrote and illustrated many books and articles about local history. (See "Remembering When" 2021.87). He also took photos of contemporary local scene that were often digitally enhanced to be sold as products and souvenirs.
