Hudson Heritage Farms, Ganges, Michigan
Archive
A colored postcard showing two sculptures. One of a man and one of a woman in old fashioned 1860s garb. It was erected in memory of the Hudson family pioneers who were early settlers of the area in 1861
Notation on the front of the card reads:
This farm has been in the Hudson family and farmed continuously since 1861. In 1962 the Michigan Historical Commission declared the Hudson Farm a Michigan Centennial Farm.
Pictures is a sculpture on the farm that was commissioned to honor the pioneering Hudsons, their families and all those who, then and since, have come from other lands, with little but their faith, energy and determination, to make their contributions to America.
