"The location is bordering the west side of the road [Park Street] somewhere between the Pumphouse museum and the Ox-bow property. The woman in the background left is Erma Crow Simonson, wife of Herman Simonson. I believe that the tent was an early photo studio open during the summer ca 1915. Possibly some of these people used it also for living quarters. The man on the left looks like Doc Heath but not sure. Herman's assistant, name of Olsen, might be next to him. Probably the camp name derives from the eyed auger tool. The photo itself can be identified by the printing style on the lower left, as a glass plate photo taken by Herman Simonson." - information via email from Jack Sheridan, March 2023
