Philip Bornarth Born: 1929 Scene at Ox-Bow 1957 | watercolor and ink on paper Notes: Philip Bornarth is best known for his paintings. He was also a competent printmaker, a skill he taught at the Ox-Bow Summer School of Art in Saugatuck, Michigan. This sketch, which looks much like a print, is typical of the modernist approach to art typical of the 1950s. Collection: Saugatuck Douglas History Center Gift of: Kenneth M. Kutzel and William M.
