Jan 30, 1948 article about Neils Harss and spouse Jeannetta's visit to Copenhagen, Denmark in December 1947. Neils immigrated from Denmark in 1918 and worked for Edwin House circa 1926-1938.
Article "Cherry Cider Co. Is Expanding" House bought out Famous Beverage company owned by Kenneth Driver of St. Joseph and moved equipment to Saugatuck where House has been producing high-grade soft drinks for the "last fifteen years."

Very old article about Edwin House speaking at Congreational Church on "Farming vs. other Occupations" and "How the old Horse Won the Bet." A Mr. Stearns also gave an instructive talk about marketing. Loyd Goodrich presented paper titled "Educational Qualifications for a Farmer."

Note on Edwin House letterhead with slogan "Do not look upon (the?) wine when (?) in the Red -- Drink House's Cherry Cider instead." Slogan must not have caught on.
Two letters to Edwin House from Margaret McKee of Pentwater extolling House as not the "King of the Bootleggers" but "Prince for beating the world in making the best and only real good decent drink." She ordered a 1/2 gallon jug.
