"Memories" a pre-printed funeral book produced by the Kenyon Company of Bryan, O., USA, provided to the Koning family by Dykstra Funeral Home.
The very elaborate booklet has a brown/black textured cover, printed with black and silver ink, embossed glassine flyleaf, 40 pages of brown ink printing on cream, linen stock and bound with brown cord and tassel. Many of the pages are printed with generic prayers of solace and attached color images of Jesus and Mary.
Pages includes lists of family members, funeral attendants, names of people who called, sent flowers, loaned automobiles, and an envelope attached to the inside back cover to stash cards. The envelope contains two newspaper clippings: Mary's death notice and a poem in her honor submitted by Robert T. Olson. Both clippings have the date trimmed away.
