There is very little to no deterioration to the board. The painted lettering does show some fading, but not enough to make it illegible.On the back, there are two drill holes visible in the upper center and upper right corner. This is most likely from the board having been nailed to a post or wall at some point. There is also a shallow cut in the surface of the front of the piece. This is most likely from a knife, but how it got there is unknown.
