The property is described as "the south half of lot 20 of block 2 of Morrison's Addition to the Village of Saugatuck." 14 December 1928 warranty deed transferring property from Bessie Smith Merven to Axel George Erickson and (wife) Lillian E. Erickson. The property is described as lot 87 of the village of Saugatuck. The Notary Public's signature is unreadable (William R? Riatchan), the other witness is Edna Boyce Abstract of Title from the Allegan County Abstract Office listing number, grantor, grantee, instrument and dated from 1852 to 1944
