Signs of the Times joint SDHC/SCA exhibit 17. sign: House’s Cherry Mix “It’s The Best Drink I Ever Had’ original site: Art Works Studios at Saugatuck’s north entrance collection: Saugatuck-Douglas Historical Society Collection Invented in 1924, “Cherry Mix” was a product from Mr. Edwin House’s cherry orchards along Washington Street (Holland Street) at 66th Street, and sold at House’s Roadside Fruit Market, Blue Star and Washington Streets (at the wedge)—and delivered by Mr. Erv Kasten Sr.
